PLC Management is a service within the CODESYS Automation Server that is used for billing the management of controllers.

Only available as a service of the CODESYS Automation Server product

The management of controllers in the CODESYS Automation Server includes all controllers registered there. The management of a controller in the CODESYS Automation Server starts with the confirmation “Add to server” in the network scan. and ends with “Remove PLC”, “Replace PLC”, or by clicking on the recycle bin on the controller in the list view.

The PLC management is billed monthly. If a controller is added and removed in the same month, the complete monthly fee will be charged.

Replacing a controller with “Replace PLC” means that only one controller is billed per month.

With the limit “PLCs” in the CODESYS Store the number of controllers registered on the server can be controlled.

The limit of a service can be set in the CODESYS Store under My Account -> My Servers -> Server Details.

The basic access to the CODESYS Automation Server includes 2 PLCs.
