Renishaw: VIONiC DUAL SIGNAL ENCODER SYSTEM (DSi-QTL12)

For the ultimate angular metrology, REXM20 with two VIONiC readheads and a VIONiC DSi (Dual Signal interface) offers exceptional repeatability, zero coupling losses and better than ±1 arc second total installed accuracy. The REXM20 features a thicker cross-section designed to minimise all installation errors except eccentricity, which is easily corrected using the combined output of two VIONiC readheads. Once the DSi has eliminated eccentricity, the only other errors remaining are graduation and Sub-Divisional Error - both of which are minimal.

Note: Part numbers beginning A-XXXX-XXXX are not valid for TONiC DSi units.

The nomenclature should be used when ordering DSi units (For example DSI-QTL01).

Some variants are not yet included on the ordering system. Please contact EPD to add variants to the system.

Note: PLEASE SELECT THE SAME CLOCK FREQUENCY DSi AS THE TONiC INTERFACES USED.

Note: Partial-rotation DSi has not been tested with RGS scale
