RGS40-G is a tape scale manufactured from a thin flexible steel strip, featuring a 40 µm pitch, which is gold plated to give high reflectivity and corrosion resistance. It may be mounted using UHV compatible adhesive backing tape, to most engineering materials, including metals, ceramics and composites.
RGS40-S 40 um steel tape scale

40um RGS40-G is made of thin flexible steel strip; the steel strip is gold-plated with higher reflectivity and corrosion resistance. You can use the self-adhesive on the back to install it on most engineering materials such as metal, ceramics and synthetic materials;

The scale is supplied in rolls, and users can cut them as needed, which can meet the needs of shaft lengths up to 70 m;

The swelling characteristics of the RGS40-G scale are consistent with the swelling characteristics of the base material (adhesive to the scale), which simplifies the thermal compensation of the system;

Installation tools help to install the scale quickly and accurately;

The painted scale is easy to clean and durable;

It can be easily "cut to the required length" to ensure unnecessary waste and efficient inventory management;
