E-Motion Newsletter Sanyo Denki SANMOTION G Series AC Servo System March 24th 2023
SANYO DENKI CO., LTD. has developed and
released a brand new servo system, SANMOTION G, which features industry-leading
servo performance in a compact, lightweight, energy-efficient design This servo system provides high-speed and
high-precision control of equipment, greatly improving the productivity and
processing quality. It has various safety functions to ensure the safety of operators,
such as monitoring of power supply status and communication quality, estimation
of the remaining life of the holding brake, and prevention of electronic
component failures.

Analog/Pulse Or EtherCAT 200V Class: 10,20,30,50 A 100V Class: 10,20,30 A
Application
CMP Equipment In semiconductor factories Used for polishing and flattening semiconductor wafers. Servo systems are used to rotate semiconductor wafers and rotary tables. SANMOTION G is ideal for semiconductor manufacturing applications, where smooth, precise positioning is required.
Overhead Conveyor In semiconductor factories, automatic conveyor equipment that is suspended from and moves along the guide rails is installed overhead. Servo systems are used to move conveyor trolleys, and grab and move up and down the boxes containing semiconductor wafers, making efficient semiconductor manufacturing possible.
Filling machine
In food/beverage factories, it is
used to fill containers with liquids.
With high precision synchronous
control of water- and dust-resistant motors, this servo system can be used with
confidence in machines that handle food and beverages.
CT scanner
In hospitals, it is used to perform a scan of a patient to create cross-sectional images of the body by using a rotating X-ray tube and a row of detectors. Servo systems are used for the gantry drive axis, and the vertical and horizontal bed oving axes. This application requires high vibration resistance and smooth motion.
