E-Motion wants to inform you of upcoming changes that may affect your orders due to newly imposed tariffs on imports from numerous countries.
Effective at 12:01 a.m. on April 9, 2025:
The key trading partners subject to these customized tariff rates include:
- European Union: 20% (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden)
- China: 145% (which includes earlier tariffs)
- South Korea: 25%
- India: 27%
- Thailand: 36%
- Japan: 24%
- Taiwan: 32%
These tariffs apply to various motors, drives, transformers, controllers, HMIs, PLCs, and more in these countries. As a result, pricing adjustments may occur for products that rely on imported components & PCB's from these countries.
