Thomson: Belt Driven-Ball Guided Units

Belt driven, ball guided positioning slides by Thomson are designed for smooth travel in dynamic applications requiring high speed, high acceleration. These families present a long life performance in the midst of acceleration rates up to 40 m/s2.

MF/TF (Movopart/Rapidtrak) Linear Units

Thomson's Movopart® MG (Rapidtrak® TG) linear rodless actuator slides provide guided linear motion through a belt drive and saddle that rides along the top of the actuator to carry the load. These units are designed with high speed and accelerations with long stroke length capabilities. The ball guided versions of this product family are designed to provide medium accuracy, speed, and thrust application capacities with low friction for precise positioning. Double carriage options are available.

The self-adjusting cover band stretcher extends the life of the cover band, which protects belt and guide from contaminants.
