Thin Film Pressure Sensors

Kavlico Pressure Sensors innovative Thin Film Pressure Sensors utilizes a TiON sense element in a welded, hermetically sealed, stainless steel housing, measuring the pressure and the temperature of the media.

Kavlico's Thin Film Pressure Sensors and Transducers were developed for Industrial and Transportation applications to meet the most stringent performance and quality standards. The innovative, compact designs and low weight in combination with high media resistance and high operating temperature capability provides highly reliable and long term stability for the most demanding applications.The innovative thin film pressure sensors are manufactured in an up to ISO class 5 clean room in Minden, Germany.

The PTA5000 pressure sensor utilizes Kavlico’s thin film strain gauge sensing technology, incorporating a hermetically sealed design with no internal sealing required. Designed for harsh environments, a rugged 304 stainless steel housing surrounds the PTA5000 transducer.

With it's small, compact design and light weight the PTA5000 pressure sensor is ideal for applications with packaging and weight limitations. This easy-to-use pressure sensor is media resistant, allowing for a broad range of liquid and gaseous media compatibility. It can be used at high operating temperatures and has integral temperature compensation. Reliable, accurate, and rugged the PTA5000 is a solution to the most demanding, mission critical applications. To ensure a world-wide usage the senor is cULus listed and CE certified.
